About Love

No one knows where love comes from, it’s just there.
It attacks the heart like a tiger to a gazelle.
It hurts, it severs, it impairs, it sunders, with not one care.
Most the time no one is left to tell.
For love isn’t that wandering gazelle.
But the tiger full of rage from hell.
That claws, cuts, and leaves nothing to tell.
That tiger has attacked my heart for now it is torn.
My heart still has love throughout the rips and pieces.
Yet I know without love, my heart is in a state of constant lorn.
Love is nothing but a controlled emotion, the thought is facetious.
I know I need love to move on, to get by, but why, if it is torn?
Happiness is the key to everlasting love.
Finding love can be simple.
Keeping love is difficult.
Yet love can get annoying like a pimple.
Or it can be that wonderful jolt.
You know you are in love when the following occurs.
You don’t get butterflies in your stomach but dozens of birds.
Your dreams are filled with that person constantly.
You are always excited when you see that person and very happy.
Maybe this is how you know you’re in love.
